‘White substance’ sent to Obama’s DC office
Washington cops are investigating a mysterious “white substance” that was sent to ex-President Barack Obama’s capital office, according to multiple reports.
Fox 5 TV said the incident was reported around 12:30 p.m. at 1250 24th St. in northwest Washington, DC.
Obama has leased space at the building — owned by the nonprofit World Wildlife Fund, which has its headquarters there — since leaving office in January 2017.
Traffic reportedly was heavy in the vicinity as emergency responders arrived.
The incident came one day after Donald Trump Jr.’s wife was taken to a New York hospital after a letter containing a white powder was sent to her Sutton Place pad.
